Horizontal and vertical cross-roller bearing system The backlash- and maintenance-free cross-roller bearing system results in less fatigue in daily use. The vertical object movement also equipped with a cross-roller bearing system is free from backlash and avoids vibrations.
Monolithic construction The novel monolithic torsion-free construction of the instrument ensures absolute stability. The microtome is completely anodised thus making cleaning the instrument easy for users.
Quick release system for object clamps The quick release system, for both the universal cassette clamp and the standard object clamp, together with the object orientation system make it possible to adjust the angle at which the knife approaches the block and results in the quick and easy preparation of tissue sections.
Precise infeed The instrument is equipped with a manual coarse feed system for the fast and easy approach to the object during positioning. The feed from 0.5 μm to 60 μm is done via the section thickness feed.
Finger guard An integrated finger guard provides the required protection in the area of the knife/blade.
