Cross-roller bearing The optimal arrangement of the precision cross-roller bearing together with the very short working stroke allows a smooth and even sliding movement.
Coarse adjustment The coarse feed wheel moves the object clamp up and down allowing a fast approach of the object to the knife. The section thickness preselector sets the thicknessfrom 1 μm to 30 μm. The feed is done manually via a setting lever.
Simple control The small number of controls and the simple adjustment of the clearing angle on the knife holder is user friendly and ensures a smooth and pleasant action.
Finger guard A magnetic finger guard provides the necessary protection in the area of the knife/blade.
Easy to clean and maintain The microtome has an easy-to-clean anodised surface, within which the micrometer mechanism is protected by the enclosed housing.
