pfm medical Institute
The pfm medical Institute, based in Cologne, Germany, was founded in 2009 in order to promote science and research and also fund initial and advanced training relating to medicine, nursing and health economics. Research projects are carried out in cooperation with universities. The major subject areas involved are
- case management
- cross-sector (in and outpatient) care
- demographic transition and
- academicism in the nursing occupations.
The Institute supports new generations of health care professionals by awarding scholarships and enabling students to work on dissertations and these for bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The pfm medical Institute cooperates with universities to provide both scientific and operative support for students.
Both alone and in cooperation with approved training providers, the pfm medical Institute also offers training events relevant to medicine, nursing and health economics. Experienced speakers from academic and practical backgrounds provide
- basic training sessions and
- individually tailored training sessions.
