pfmmedical is investing in the future: expansion of sterilisation at pfm medical msg gmbh

Following investment of around €2.6 million, pfmmedical has completed an expansion of the sterilisation plant at pfm medical msg in Nonnweiler. With this expansion, pfmmedical is sending a clear signal for sustainable growth and innovation.

By expanding the existing sterilisation plant with a 1,000 m2 production hall and 10 new degassing chambers, pfm medical msg offers state-of-the-art conditions for ethylene oxideEthylene oxide is a gas used as disinfectant for organic insulation (wool, plant fibres), textile fibres, and medical devices and products. (EO) sterilisation to meet growing demand. At the same time, the current expansion creates the infrastructural conditions for the Nonnweiler site to play an even more central role within the pfmmedical group of companies in the future.

“Completing this construction project marks another milestone in the development of pfmmedical”, explains Aurel Schoeller, President of pfm medical gmbh. “This investment not only strengthens the Nonnweiler site, it also underlines our commitment to long-term value creation in Germany.”

There is also a great deal of enthusiasm on site. The construction work was completed within the planned time and cost framework. The new production hall and expanded facilities are already in operation, so it is clear: the expansion of sterilisation is a clear commitment to the sustainable sterilisation of medical devices and pharmaceuticals with ethylene oxide and, at the same time, to the preservation of high-quality jobs in northern Saarland.
